Each third Thursday during the summer we will have potluck sew-ins instead of our regular membership meeting. This is a good time to finish projects and introduce your friends to our Quilt Guild. Please join us at Fabric Warehouse beginning at 5:30 pm. June 18, July16 & Aug.20.

September 17, 2009, Thursday – Guild Meeting
To welcome you back from your long, hot summer, we are going to have a fun project presented by Jacqui Anderson. Knowing Jacqui you will want to be present this activity. More information will follow soon.

October 15, 2009, Thursday – Guild Meeting
Our guest speaker will be Teddy Pruitt, a wonderful, experienced Quilt Appraiser. Teddy will share with you much information about antique quilts and will give you many pointers on making quilts that last for generations.
(No appraisals will be made on this evening)

October 17, 2009, Saturday – Tea & Appraisals
Join us for Tea and Conversation from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. Bring your quilts, both antique and new, for sharing with those present and garnering appraisals from Teddy Pruitt. This wonderful day will be held at Faith Lutheran Church just off So. FL. Ave. Jacqui Anderson will give us more information at the April meeting.

November 19, 2009, Thursday – Guild Meeting
Don’t forget that Joan Shay will be our guest speaker for this exciting meeting. Her 3-D fabric flowers are delightful and so fun to make.

December 12, 2009, Saturday – Christmas Tea
Terrace Hotel
Jacqui Anderson and Leesa Lloyd are planning on another wonderful Christmas experience in 2009. You won’t want to miss this one. Also, your 2009 Challenge will be shown and a winner chosen. Get busy with your Challenge piece so that you will have something to show at the Tea and at the Quilt Show.


March 5-6, 2010, Friday/Saturday – “In the Garden” Judged Quilt Show
Imperial Swan Hotel – 7th Floor

Quilts may be entered for judging or just for show. There will only be time for the judging of 150 quilts so the registration for judging will be “first come first served”. We will have, however, plenty of room to display many more quilts and welcome your entries.

We are accepting registration from Vendors for the Quilt Show
If you are interested in Vending or know of a vendor that you would like to invite to participate.   Download Registration Form and send it in.  Space is limited and will be awarded on a first come first served basis by post mark / date stamp on the form.
